Following its inception, Flemingo was quick to spot the strategic advantage in the UAE offered for its business. Centrally located among Africa, Asia, CIS and Europe with proven logistics capabilities UAE was soon the home to Flemingo's operations. This was followed by the opening of more strategically located bases in Kenya, Tanzania, and Mauritius. In 2001 Flemingo established a new office and warehouse facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (UAE).
